Art

Over the years, my decorative painting business has morphed into Interior Design, Color Consulting and Commissioned Art pieces. While I no longer take on sweeping decorative painting projects, am still very interested really unique painted projects either on canvas or a special area on the wall or ceiling.

Painted finishes include the ‘lips’ painting on canvas (I call it RockStar), the zigzag pattern on the ceiling and cabbage pattern stenciled on the drapes. The upholstered chairs have also been painted with black latex and a flame-stitch inspired pattern. RockStar- mixed media on canvas 30×48

This piece was commissioned for Carlos Santana’s restaurant in the San Francisco Bay Area. Let the Music Set You Free- mixed media and collage on wood

This large canvas was commissioned by my client to draw the eyes into the dining room where I painted a similar wallpaper pattern on all of the walls. Mixed media on canvas 48×60

This piece was painted along with the Carlos Santana group. Mixed media on wood.

This butterfly installation was photographed for Apartment Therapy and Alaska Air magazine. Wire, paper, and wood

My latest interest is in 3-dimensional installation pieces like the Butterfly piece above and this fireplace cover made from used books and plywood. The books can also be installed on the wall and finished and configured in several different ways.

These small paintings are created for my line of decorative pillows

I hand-painted the ‘beautitudes’ and various other scriptures on this 30ft wall. The iron gate is also rubbed with metallics paints.

I designed and painted a medallion for this opulent chandelier. I also glazed the ceiling and walls in custom finishes.
